It’s Saturday, which means it’s time once again to take a look at the best the web has to offer on all things health, fitness, and body-loving goodness.  Remember that I’d love to share something you’ve written or read–get in touch with me at icametorun [at] gmail [dot] com or through twitter to let me know if you have something to contribute!

Feel free to share your own links in the comments!

  1. Regarding the sleep article…I came to the conclusion several years ago that I need nine, nine and a half hours of sleep a night to be at my best. That is when I would fall asleep and wake up naturally. I’m ok with that – and generally, I am quite productive when awake, so it’s not like I’m scrambling to get things done – but American society and some people in general are constantly making me feel bad! Like there’s something wrong with me (if it’s not physical, it’s mental….) or like I’m lazy, or “not yet an adult”.
But apparently by sleeping more I’ll be smarter, happier, more successful and healthier so booyah! 😉

  2. I saw that post about the Barbie doll and was appalled! I knew all the statistics about how she wouldn’t be able to walk, menstruate, etc, but it was something all together different to see it in “real life”
